About Me

My photo
I married my best friend Drew on August 11, 2007. Together, we have two dogs, two fish, a cat, and one big renovation. But our biggest love is raising our two beautiful daughters, Hadley and Piper. Life's busy and quite an adventure!

Billy Built-Ins

We started a new project using Ikea Billy shelving units.  This is actually 5 different shelves that we put together.  We added a top, trim, and paint.  Voila.  Looks like built-ins.

I filled the shelves with a bunch of our junk, but it was much needed storage.  I still need to get some baskets and bins and decorative goodies, but I'm really liking it so far.  I feel like it really opens the space up a bit, and I think we'll be getting a lot of use out of it.

March Moments

These are random photos I took with my phone throughout the month.  A little more candid.  I love them.

This is one of my all time favorites of the girls.  Love.

Bowling

Hadley's first time bowling was a BIG hit.  She loved it, and asked to go bowling again every day for the next two weeks.  I think we'll have to make it a regular family event.

Five Months

Piper is five months already, and time is flying!  She wants to crawl so bad.  I think she'll be a much happier baby when she can really move.

Haddie's 3rd Birthday, Part Deux

We celebrated Haddie's 3rd Birthday again at nana and papa's house in Oregon.  Great Grandma Millie made her a Cinderella birthday cake.  Pretty awesome.

Hadley's 3rd Birthday

We celebrated ONE of Haddie's birthdays at our house, and her papa made an awesome castle cake for her.  Pink.  Of course.  She even picked out pink ice cream to go with it.

Whaaaa?

Hands over her eyes when we sang "Happy Birthday".  Just like at her two year birthday.  Interesting.

Very festive, Piper.  You rock that look.  I dig the drool.

Cowgirl Haddie

She thinks she's a real cowgirl!  She's missing the cows at nana and papa's house lately.  Everyday she says she wants to go feed the cows with papa.
